ColdFusion MX6.1 Server

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

We are aware of an issue with the ColdFusion MX6 server (IS-3715) that i preventing the display of customer sites.

We are investigating the issue as a matter of urgency and will update users as soon as possible.

Update 17:35 – It would appear at this stage that the OS system disk may have become corrupted.  We are attempting to repair the disk now.  Customer data is not affected as this information is held on a separate disk.

Update 18:27 – The chkdsk system is now approximately 75% complete and is recovering orphaned files.  Once this process is complete we should be able to gain access into the server to establish if the disk requires a replacement.

Update 21:20 – Files are still being recovered from the system disk.  This is taking considerable time as there are thousands of files to check. Once the process is complete we will be in a better position to asses the server.

Update 23:04 – Unfortunately the chkdsk is still running and we will be unable to halt the progress without possibly damaging the drive.  Further updates will follow as soon as we have them….

Update 00:42 – The recovery of orphaned files is still ongoing, we do not have an ETA of when this will be complete.

Update 03:10 – The chkdsk has now completed and the server is back online.  We will be assesing the disk structure and possible replacement later today.
